The West Mill is a truly unique wedding venue set in a Grade I Listed, former cotton spinning mill. Dating back to the early 1800's, the building played an important part in the history of the industrial revolution.

Driving: Please drive down Haslams Lane from Alfreton Road. As you reach the Darley Abbey Mills, you will see a large sign on your left for The West Mill - this takes you to the main car park.

From Darley Abbey Village: Please note that there is no vehicular access from the village side of the bridge, however The West Mill can be accessed by foot this way.

The venue is located close to Derby City Centre which means there are a few options for accommodation. We have linked to a few below to help.

Our big day is 20th April 2024. We ask day guests to arrive by 12.30pm for the ceremony to begin at 1pm.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children unless they were part of the wedding party, who attended the ceremony.
